Response & Prevention Group
The Response & Prevention Group (ANACO-RP) oversees the Auxiliary's operational mission support directorates. These directorates coordinate surface, aviation, and telecommunications missions; emergency management and disaster response; prevention activities; and international affairs — ensuring the Auxiliary is ready to support the Coast Guard across all operational domains.
Response
The Response Directorate (R) manages Auxiliary members and assets participating in Surface, Aviation, and Telecommunication missions on behalf of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Aviation (AUXAIR) — Manages AUXAIR missions including SAR, Port Over Flights, Coastal Security, and Pollution Response.

Emergency Management & Disaster Response
The Emergency Management & Disaster Response Directorate (Q) coordinates Auxiliary support during natural disasters, mass casualty events, and other emergency operations.

The Prevention Directorate (P) manages Auxiliary support for Coast Guard prevention missions including marine safety, port security, and waterways management.

International Affairs
The International Affairs Directorate (I) provides foreign language interpretation and translation services to the active duty U.S. Coast Guard and other U.S. government agencies through the Auxiliary Interpreter Corps (AIC).
